EAST INDIES TEXTILE-WEAVING We have a small but well-formed selection of outstanding hand-loomed textiles (ceremonial wraps, wedding sarongs etc) perfectly suited for wall hanging. The muted hues of native natural dyes produce a striking effect alongside the bright and gay vigour of Hanging Fruits'contemporary paintings. Mostly from the islands east of Bali, our textile collection excludes standard tourist fare…..woven with cotton fibres and almost exclusively using natural dyes, each Hanging Fruits piece demonstrates why hand-woven Indonesian textiles are valued by international collectors.
